FAQ’s and Tips

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my insurance rates increase if I make a claim?

No. Most insurance companies consider and treat your replacement as a “glass claim only” . As long there is no other damage to claim, there should not be an increase.

My insurance company says Anytime Auto Glass is not on their “preferred list” or that they cannot guarantee the work, that I must use their company.

Anytime Auto Glass guarantees all our work. See our warranty. In Massachusetts you have the legal “right to choose”, meaning it is your choice who services your car. We have your safety and best interests in mind. Click here for information on steering.

Consumer Tips

  • For a safe commute it is a good idea to keep your wipers clean and inspect them for tears. It is a recommended that you replace them at least once a year.
  • If your vehicle has been broken into, you should report this to the local police and take a picture of any damage. If your wallet or keys have been stolen, contact your bank and credit card company to report the loss ASAP. We recommend you replace the locks on your house if keys were taken.
  • Be very careful around broken glass. Although it is designed not to cut, broken glass can damage your seats, door panels or yourself. Take pictures of any additional damage. Try to cover exposed areas if there is bad weather. Leave the rest to us.
  • Be aware of where you park. Trust your instincts. Try to park in a well-lit area near other cars. You should leave all bags out of view or in the trunk––thieves don’t know it’s your smelly gym clothes. :~)
  • Is a molding coming loose, or do you have a water leak? You should address this issue right away. Water leaks can cause major problems. Contact us; 617-898-8463 We may be able to help.
